How will applications be selected for funding?

Because of the anticipated volume of applications and limited funds—and toward funding equity among schools of different sizes, geographic locations, and financial need—applications will be reviewed on a monthly basis by the Educational Theatre Foundation staff. After review, qualifying applications will be selected via a lottery process for funding each month. Schools who are not awarded a grant are automatically re-entered for the next month’s available funding. All applicants will receive a notification if they have been awarded a grant or that their application will be submitted for the next cycle of funding.
